Ugo Olike is a multi-jurisdictional attorney with experience in civil litigation, energy and environmental law, commercial transactions, immigration law, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution. Licensed to practice law in Texas, United States and Nigeria, with qualification as a Solicitor of England and Wales in progress, he advises clients on complex legal, regulatory, and operational matters across a broad range of industries, including energy, renewable energy, manufacturing, insurance, logistics, and construction.
Ugo’s practice combines litigation experience with substantial knowledge of commercial contracts, regulatory interpretation, risk mitigation, eDiscovery, confidentiality and data protection compliance, corporate social responsibility and dispute resolution strategy. He has managed active litigation matters, drafted motions and legal memoranda, negotiated resolutions, and represented clients in court proceedings and administrative matters.
In the area of immigration law, Ugo has extensive experience advising individuals, families, and employees on U.S. immigration processes and compliance requirements. His work includes preparing and filing family-based and employment-based petitions, visa applications, adjustment of status filings, DACA applications, H-1B petitions, waivers, and supporting documentation before agencies such as USCIS, and EOIR. He has guided clients through immigration interviews, hearings, evidentiary preparation, and evolving regulatory requirements while counseling on visa maintenance, work authorization, travel restrictions, and naturalization pathways.
In addition, Ugo has completed an International Arbitration Certification Program through the University of Houston Law Center and earned certification in International and Domestic Commercial Arbitration and Dispute Resolution through the Blakely Advocacy Institute. His professional training also includes mediation, negotiation, family arbitration, and advanced trial advocacy, reflecting a practical and strategic approach to client representation and dispute resolution.
